Softball Registration – 2022
REGISTRATION for NEZ SOFTBALL for the 2022 Season:
SOFTBALL REGISTRATION FOR 2022 IS NOW CLOSED – ALL TEAMS ARE FULL.
We are expecting to offer a full season of softball in 2022. One exciting change we are looking at is to offer the TimBits Softball Program for players in the U5, U7 & U9 divisions. (These are the old Nerf, T-Ball and Coach Pitch categories.)
The first and most important goal of the program is to make Softball FUN for kids. And what better way to do that then to provide the coach with all the tools they will need to run a successful program. The Timbits Softball manuals contain 18 prepared lesson plans that are easy to follow and understand. The games and activities that make up the lesson plans were created to increase the activity levels of the children and to challenge them in appropriate ways. Not only will the kids be tired from all the fun they will be having but they will be developing their individual softball skills as well as building life skills like co-operation and team work.
The U11 to U19 teams will play in the GEMSA leagues with teams in the greater Edmonton area.
All players must register on-line. You will then need to complete your registration at an in-person registration where you will pay your registration fee if you did not do so online and sign up for your volunteer commitment. One volunteer shift per player is required.
If your home Community League is holding registrations please print out a copy of your online registration and attend their registration date. You would sign up for your volunteer shift with your home community.
If your home Community League is not holding registrations please attend one of the NEZ Central Registration dates at the NEZ Office, 12855 – 52 St. NW, Edmonton.
- Saturday, March 19, 2022 noon to 2:00 pm
