NEZ Padres had a very successful 2011 season. Our Padres Mosquito team earned the Silver Medal in Tier 1 after a one run loss in the final to Coronation. Our Padres Peewee team won gold in Tier 3 beating Lacombe 13 to 11 in the final.

Congratulations to NEZ Baseball Director, Dave Ball who was inducted as a NEZ Lifetime Member at the Annual Awards Banquet on November 12, 2011. Dave has been involved in NEZ Baseball since 1994. He was elected as Baseball Director in 2005 and continues to run a vibrant and growing ball program.

Serenity Landry was a young lady who passed away on February 10, 1994 at the age of 14. Serenity and her parents loved the sport of softball. She played in the Northeast Zone for 7 seasons, playing coach pitch in Lago Lindo, mites and squirts in KGR and PeeWee AA softball for the Edmonton Elks and the Edmonton Warriors.
